Overview — How setup is done
Your complete setup path
Follow these 9 steps in order. Tap any branch below to open that step’s full instructions.
Click a step to open its guide page
Tip: Use the dots above or the tree cards to jump. “Next” walks through every page in order. Press Esc to close anytime.
Step 1 — Create Account
Create your Mistura-IOT account
Every workspace starts with a verified account. Registration takes about a minute — we email a one-time code so only you can activate the account.
1
Click “Create New Account” Located just below the Sign In button on this login page.
2
Choose a username At least 3 characters. This is what you will type at login.
3
Enter a real email address The 6-digit verification code is sent here. Codes expire in 15 minutes.
4
Set a password Minimum 4 characters. Prefer a longer, unique password for production use.
5
Submit → enter the code Check your inbox (and spam). Paste the code and complete registration.
Tip: If the email does not arrive within 2 minutes, check spam/promotions. You can register again with the same email — the previous unverified entry is cleaned up automatically.
Already registered? Verified emails and usernames cannot be reused. Use “Forgot Password” if you lost access.
Step 2 — Sign In
Sign in securely
Use the username and password you just verified. Sessions are limited for safety so your account cannot be open on unlimited devices at once.
1
Enter username & password Use the eye icon to reveal the password while typing if needed.
2
Click “Sign In” On success you are redirected to the Main Dashboard.
3
Session & device limits Default: up to 2 active sessions and 4 devices. Exceeding limits shows a clear warning — log out from another device first.
“Too many devices” or “Device limit reached”? Your account has reached the maximum number of allowed devices. Please sign out from an older browser or device and try again. If you need to use additional devices, please contact your administrator to increase your device limit.
Forgot password? Use “Forgot Password” on this page — a reset code is emailed and is valid for 15 minutes.
Step 3 — Configure Gateway Network
Put the gateway online (Serial or Wi-Fi AP)
Before the cloud can see your hardware, the gateway must join your network. Open Setting (login Page->Setting button) and choose Serial USB or the WiFi-AP method.
1
Serial path (recommended first time) Connect USB → browser “Select” COM port → Connect at 115200 baud → Enter Setup → fill Wi-Fi / Ethernet / Cellular → Apply & Save.
2
Wi-Fi SoftAP path Join the Gateway AP (default SSID Gateway-Setup, password 12345678) → Connect in the page → Enter Setup → save network details.
3
Choose interface Wi-Fi (SSID + password, DHCP or static), Ethernet (DHCP/static), or Cellular (APN).
4
Wait for SUCCESS Gateway reboots and joins the new network. Change the WiFi-AP password after first setup.
No COM ports? Install CP210x / CH340 drivers and close other serial monitors. Use a data-capable USB cable.
Activity log The config page shows live serial/AP messages. Use Ping to test the link before saving.
Step 4 — Add Your Gateway
Register the gateway under your account
The gateway number and secret key are printed on the device label (or supplied with the hardware). Linking them ties telemetry to your user.
1
Open Manage Devices From the Main Dashboard menu.
2
Register Hardware Enter gateway number (e.g. GW-001) and the case-sensitive gateway key.
3
Confirm registration The gateway card appears in your list when the key is accepted.
Tip: Keep the gateway key private — anyone with it can claim the device if it is not already registered to another account.
Step 5 — Add Your Devices
Attach Devices to the gateway
Supported nodes include temperature scanners, energy meters,Humidity, process temperature, and motor protection units. Each device gets an ID and sample interval.
1
Open the gateway card Choose “Show Devices” / add device on Manage Devices.
2
Pick the device type MS9700 8-ch temp · AVH9611 energy meter · MHT9611 temp+humidity · PTC9611 process temp · MPD9611 motor protection.
3
Set device ID, name & interval Match the Modbus / node address on the physical unit. Sample interval is typically a few seconds.
4
Optional channel names & thresholds Rename channels (e.g. “Motor Bearing”) and set warning/critical limits for colour alarms on live views.
Multiple Devices One gateway can host many nodes. Add each device, then sync once (next step) so the ESP firmware receives the full map.
Step 6 — Sync Config to Gateway
Push the Devices map to the hardware
Until the gateway acknowledges the configuration, it will not publish the correct channels over MQTT. Always sync after adding or changing devices.
1
Sync Config on the gateway card Review the device list in the popup.
2
Send All to GateWay Status moves to “Waiting for ACK”, then green “Configuration Saved on GateWay!” when accepted.
3
Confirm MQTT traffic live values should start flowing within the sample interval.
Stuck on red? Check gateway power, network (Step 3), and that the MQTT broker is reachable from the device.
Step 7 — Live Monitoring
Watch real-time telemetry
Open Gateway Live from the dashboard to see every registered device on that gateway. Values refresh about every 5 seconds; offline nodes show a red status dot.
1
Open Gateway Live Select the gateway ID. Cards mirror device type (energy tiles, 8-ch scanner, climate, motor protection, etc.).
2
Display modes Scroll, paging, or auto-rotate pages. Set devices per page, orientation, and fullscreen from the floating controls / setup panel.
3
Themes Switch between Deep Ocean, Carbon, Sunset, Emerald, Paper Light, and Pure Light — preference is saved in the browser.
4
Alarms Threshold colours (normal / warning / critical) and OPEN sensor states appear on channel values when limits are configured.
You’re live Green status pills and updating timestamps mean MQTT + database realtime APIs are healthy.
Step 8 — Recover Offline Data
Pull stored logs after outages
When the network drops, gateways can keep recording. Log Manager lets you fetch those files and insert missing rows into the cloud database without duplicates.
1
Open Log Manager Choose gateway and sensor, then “Get Offline Data”.
2
Wait for the file transfer Status shows “WAITING FOR FILE” while the gateway uploads its buffer.
3
Review the table Select rows (or Select All) and “Insert Selected”. Confirm with your password.
4
Duplicates are skipped Rows already in the database are marked “Already in DB” and ignored.
Automatic protection Insertions are password-gated and idempotent so you never double-count historical data.
Step 9 — Clean Up & Best Practices
Housekeeping and security habits
Keep online history and onboard flash healthy. Review sessions and passwords regularly so the system stays secure and responsive.
1
Delete online logs Log Manager → pick gateway, sensor, date range → Check Logs → Delete Logs (password required).
2
Delete offline files on the gateway Use “Delete Log File” after you have successfully inserted the data you need.
3
Change password periodically Use the change-password API from the authenticated app (current password required).
4
Log out unused sessions Use Logout so tokens and device cookies are cleared and session slots free up.
5
Harden SoftAP credentials After first network config, never leave the default SoftAP password in production.
Deletes are permanent Online delete and onboard file delete cannot be undone. Always recover/insert offline data first when in doubt.
All done! 🎉 Account verified, network configured, gateway & Devices registered, config synced, live view running, and logs under control. You’re ready for production monitoring.
